Merry Christmas To Us

Yesterday, we bought our Christmas presents with the gift cards/money we received in December.  Here's a big thanks to Mom, Dad, Oma, Linda, Milt, Holly and Bryan!  Here is what you bought us.

A duvet, duvet cover, coverlet, bed skirt and two pillow cases

The throw pillows and pillow shams were 25-35 dollars a piece.  We decided to skip those.  Maybe, my mom will have to come help me sew some more?  :)

I'm excited we have a blanket that matches our duvet.  Now our bed can look pretty in the summer, too.

I always enjoy shopping with Joel.  He is so literal and logical and makes me see purchases in a whole new light.  For example, yesterday he insisted that bed-skirts look like extra long sheets that aren't tucked in.   I guess they kind of do.

Thanks for the gifts, family!  I'm hoping the wrinkles settle their way out.   I really don't want to iron them!  Also, don't mind the orthopedic pillow...I know that really adds to the style of our bedding (j/k!)
