It's a.....

I should be cleaning right now, but isn't that ALWAYS the truth?  I love our new home, but I'm not sure how I'm going to keep up with all this space?!?  Especially when baby #2 shows up.  Speaking of baby #2, we FINALLY found out what gender he/she is.  Here's the pic's from the party we had.

Audrey and CJ waiting to find out whether they will have a girl or boy play mate.

Josh and CJ....Josh won every game we played.  He took this gender party reveal seriously:)

My parents, Oma and Opa and all of Josh's family were there for the event.  We were also able to Skype the TX Ueckers and Paige's family.

My sweet girl is getting so big.

mmmmm.....southern barbecue.  This food makes the loss of NJ pizza seem less harsh.

Our happy little family.

Boy or Girl???

Joel was actually pretty nervous about cutting the cake.

A ha!! It's a.......

Girl!! (note the pink filling)

Audrey was more excited about the cake than she was about having a sister.  She still thinks the baby is a boy.

Poor CJ....the only boy cousin on the Uecker side! I'm sure he will get LOTS of attention from all his doting relatives that feel badly for him, though:)

Life as I know it:
1) I'm thrilled to have another girl.  I pray that she and Audrey grow to be close friends.
2) I'm soooooo tired.  I may have taken a nap during Audrey's nap time every day this week.
3) I'm  starting to swim.  Jogging just doesn't work so well during the third trimester.  Today I showed up at the kiddie pool (there is a place deep enough to do laps) donned in my goggles and maternity suit (w/o a kid).  I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but I got some exercise!
4) Audrey is starting to say so many funny things.  We love knowing what's going on in her little brain.
5)  It's definitely time to change our blog name again.  I'm not coming up with anything.  Any suggestions?

We've Moved!

Here's our moving truck!

We were sad to leave the good NJ friends.  This is Nevine holding Audrey.

Vicki-the first person we met at our church in NY
My racing/ prayer partner and her daughter

Ellie-born 6 days after Audrey (and Ellie's awesome mom whom I didn't get a good picture of)
Daisy-born 2 months after Audrey
and many others we will miss and didn't snap photos of!

We're starting to settle...especially Audrey!  She loves being by family.
The south is definitely different than the NE....this fact was confirmed when I opened my eggs and found a Bible verse posted on the carton!  What?!?  I like it.

What's going on:
1) I assumed we'd have everything neatly put away, pictures on the wall and curtains donned by now.  We don't.  In fact, I thought we'd be done with all that the first week we got here.  Ha ha ha....maybe we will be done by the time the new baby arrives?

2) We have hung out with Joel's brother's family at least 3-4x per week.  We also see Milton and Linda quite often.  It's nice having family around.

3).  I'm still pregnant and will be for a few more months.  I've decided to tell people that my due date is "any day now"  b/c I'm sick of eliciting comments about my size.   Yesterday, a lady at the DMV made an unflattering statement and I retorted "that's not very nice to say."  She backpedaled and said "Well, you are just so skinny and your stomach sticks out so far."  Poor lady....I guess the move, pregnancy and heat had gotten to me.   I usually don't say what I'm thinking!

4)  We are finding out the gender of baby boo #2 on Friday!  Yippee!  Anyone have a guess?

Thanks to all the people in NJ who helped us with our move and made the last three years memorable for our family!  We truly appreciate your friendships and all you did for us!  Thanks to Linda for watching Audrey while I packed!
