Baptism

Our little beauty

All three of us smiling!

Our pastors praying with us.

I've been torn for over a week.  Should I share the fact that we baptized our child or keep it private?  I know that most of our readers do not believe in infant baptism.  I get that.  There was a time I thought it was heretical.  If you are in the camp that strongly opposes it, please understand that we do not think it is an act of salvation.  If you really want to know 'why' we decided infant baptism is Biblical, you can always e-mail me (assuming that you know my e-mail address).

God has really worked in my life the past couple of years.  Especially this past one.  I think He has used the hard times to help me better understand salvation and God's love.  I pray and hope that Audrey will grow to understand God's gift of salvation!  I hope you will all pray for her, too.

Opa Takes the BEST Pictures

Me and Mr. Bumbo

Look at me..sittin' with the help of Mr. Bumbo

Yes!  That deserves a fist pump

What, you don't think my new skill is that cool?

Neither does Maddie dog.

That crazy Maddie dog.

What's a girl supposed to do to impress a dog?

She makes me laugh ALL the time.

I laugh HARD at her tricks.

All she has to do is walk and I start giggling.

ehhh...what's a baby to do?  Guess I'll keep trying to come up with some new skills.

Mirror, Mirror On the Wall

Look how much fun daddy is having!

What a funny guy!

This is daddy's favorite game to play with me!  Smile at the mirror and laugh!

So, it's been a long week:
1)  I was super sick.  Joel had to take care of Audrey all day on my birthday
2)  Audrey had her first PT appointment.
3)  Audrey and I fell down the stairs.  Yes, you read that right.  I'm still praising God that Audrey is okay!  I freak out every time I think about how badly things could have turned out.  She had to go to the MD twice (the day of the fall, and the day after for a follow-up) but she doesn't even have a scratch or bruise!  Thank you, Lord!!!!  Never wear socks on wooden steps!
