We've Moved!

Here's our moving truck!

We were sad to leave the good NJ friends.  This is Nevine holding Audrey.

Vicki-the first person we met at our church in NY
My racing/ prayer partner and her daughter

Ellie-born 6 days after Audrey (and Ellie's awesome mom whom I didn't get a good picture of)
Daisy-born 2 months after Audrey
and many others we will miss and didn't snap photos of!

We're starting to settle...especially Audrey!  She loves being by family.
The south is definitely different than the NE....this fact was confirmed when I opened my eggs and found a Bible verse posted on the carton!  What?!?  I like it.

What's going on:
1) I assumed we'd have everything neatly put away, pictures on the wall and curtains donned by now.  We don't.  In fact, I thought we'd be done with all that the first week we got here.  Ha ha ha....maybe we will be done by the time the new baby arrives?

2) We have hung out with Joel's brother's family at least 3-4x per week.  We also see Milton and Linda quite often.  It's nice having family around.

3).  I'm still pregnant and will be for a few more months.  I've decided to tell people that my due date is "any day now"  b/c I'm sick of eliciting comments about my size.   Yesterday, a lady at the DMV made an unflattering statement and I retorted "that's not very nice to say."  She backpedaled and said "Well, you are just so skinny and your stomach sticks out so far."  Poor lady....I guess the move, pregnancy and heat had gotten to me.   I usually don't say what I'm thinking!

4)  We are finding out the gender of baby boo #2 on Friday!  Yippee!  Anyone have a guess?

Thanks to all the people in NJ who helped us with our move and made the last three years memorable for our family!  We truly appreciate your friendships and all you did for us!  Thanks to Linda for watching Audrey while I packed!

A Whole New Month

It's time for mamma's monthly post....

I'm still being my goofy,

happy self.

I now love slides and can go down ALL by myself (occasionally)

I had a great time with grandma and grandpa when they visited.

I'm starting to feed my baby every day.

I'm a good little momma.

Speaking of momma, here's what she looks like 21 weeks pregnant with my sibling.  Her appetite is FINALLY almost normal again.

Momma is also teaching me how to do chores.  Do you think my belly matches hers?
Notes from Momma:

1)  I was afraid to take any pictures this pregnancy.  For one thing, I had to eat like a voraciously hungry bear during my first trimester.  I was also asked if "I was sure I wasn't having twins."  (still love you, Linda:)  In the end, I decided that I needed to document this pregnancy, too....plus a friend told me I looked "small for 21 weeks:)" I love you, friend!

2)  I'm packing, packing, packing for our upcoming move.

3)  Audrey and I spend almost every morning at the park.  Let me tell you....it's hard crawling through those kiddie tunnels with a big ol' belly.

4)  I'm finally meeting other moms at the park in our neighborhood...and finding moms groups.  It's only about 3 years late for that:(

5)  Audrey's favorite things to say are "tuck (truck), park, shots (shorts), diapa (diaper) and soggy."  It's fun hearing her talk.

6)  I haven't posted any ultrasound pics of baby boo number two because our scanner does not work.

7)  We decided to have a gender reveal party with family when we move to Charlotte.  So, we do not know what the sex of the baby is yet.  Soon, peeps....very soon.

Big News!!

Hey, you!

I wanna share what's been going on around here.

I've been trying on ALL of mamma's shoes,

and sittin' pretty on this here step.

It's a good life.

Especially when I find a "at" (hat) to wear.

Does this go with my outfit?

On to more serious business....

I went to the zoo!

and rode my first carousel.

I also took my first train ride, found out I'm going to be a big Sis....AND I'm moving to NC.  Whew.  It's been a busy couple of months.

Notes from my mamma:
1).  Yes!  We are having baby number two.  I am 18 weeks along and will find out what the gender of the baby is in a  couple of weeks.

2)  Yes!  We are moving to NC.  We are thrilled to be able to move near family, but sad to leave our NJ friends.

3)  We are in the house buying process.  Whew.  What a headache.  Three cheers for Joel who has been working very hard on loan applications and the many other details of moving.

VA to TX and More

Hey Ya'll.

Momma's been frustrated b/c she keeps getting pictures like the one above.  Her camera is too slow for my fast moves you see.

Anyway, I thought I'd tell you about my trip to VA

Grandma and Grandpa took me to the beach

I may have gotten a little wet....

I also got to see Levi,

Yeardley, with her hip glasses and all.  (She's literally starting trends at her school)

Levi kept throwing balls at Momma's head (accidentally of course)

These kids are SOOO much fun!

Silly times!

It was great seeing everyone in VA!
So, what's new?
1.  There is so much going on here in NJ.  I can't even fathom blogging about it right now.  Maybe in a few weeks?
2.  We just got back from TX.  We forgot our camera.  MAJOR FAIL.  Luckily, The U CREW took some amazing pictures.  Hop on over to their blog to see some fun Audrey shots.
3.  We are thankful spring is arriving!  (along with the rest of the USA)

Musical Chairs

Wanna see how I keep busy during the day??  Follow me!!

First I climb up on this stool thingy....

and plop in this big ol' chair.

Then I start to get a little bored and move on to smaller, better chairs.

Here I am with "Teddy"

Rock-a-bye Teddy.

What's that I spy over there?   Momma can't remember, but it must have been something good!

What's New?
1).  Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  AU and I have been trapped in the house all week, due to small group and music class cancellations.

2).  I forgot how long winter feels when you live in the north.  It's only February.  Sheesh.

3).  I'm thinking about buying some Norwex products.  Anyone have any thoughts?

Freak Out

So, you may have noticed that I changed the blog settings to private/invitation only and now it is public again.  I read a scary FB status and I went into lock down mode.  I haven't decided what I'm going to do regarding this blog.  I like to post updates so friends and family can watch Audrey grow.  I don't like scary people stealing pictures of my precious baby.....We will see what I decide to do.  I may nix the blog all together...It's been 6 years!  Wow.
